Andy Martin says the Washington Post is linked as an accessory to the misuse of Barack Obama birth certificate tapes that have been stolen by an operative of Barack Obama and/or Congressman Mark Kirk. Kirk and Obama work in concert to harass and undermine the Republican Party. Kirk is Martin’s opponent in the 2010 Illinois U. S. Senate Primary [www.AndyforUSSenator.com].

SENATE CANDIDATE ANDY MARTIN FILES SUIT AGAINST THE WASHINGTON POST BECAUSE OF THE POST’S CONNECTION TO ORCHESTRATED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY IN MARYLAND DIRECTED AT ANDY’S SENATE CAMPAIGN
MARTIN SAYS THE CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE IS OVERWHELMING THAT HE IS THE TARGET OF UNLAWFUL HARASSMENT BY EITHER MARK KIRK OR BARACK OBAMA’S OPERATIVES, OR BOTH
“BIRTH CERTIFICATE TAPES” HAVE BEEN STOLEN BY MARK KIRK OR BARACK OBAMA’S OPERATIVES, CANDIDATE SAYS
MARTIN SAYS THAT MARK KIRK IS A STALKING HORSE FOR BARACK OBAMA IN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY
(CHICAGO)(September 10, 2009) The Washington Post finds itself snared in a major Illinois and Washington political scandal now that a U. S. Senate candidate in Illinois has filed suit against the Post and one of its reporters.
“The Washington Post is now directly implicated in what clearly is criminal activity directed at me in Illinois, and being orchestrated from Maryland,” Andy Martin announced Thursday afternoon September 10th.
“The lawsuit has had a tortured history. FedEx delayed delivering the package the Clerk. Then FedEx damaged the package. Finally they delivered the new case and it was docketed just before Labor Day. The case is now on file.
“The Post owes the people of Illinois, as well as its own readers, a full explanation.
“Google is also a defendant, because the dispute involves the theft and misuse of my intellectual property.
“When I tell people in Illinois that the Washington media are corrupt, and are controlled by agents of Obama’s dirty tricks squads, they have a hard time digesting the enormity of the sleaze in Washington. Well, now we have actual evidence of criminal activity in Maryland being used to harass my campaign in Illinois.
“Somebody is awfully worried about my campaign. Who?
“Why? Because Mark Kirk and/or Barack Obama’s operatives or both are terrified I am going to win Obama’s former U. S. Senate seat and shut down his socialist regime; Mark Kirk is just a stalking horse for Obama in the Republican Party.
“They have stolen my tapes in which I discuss Obama’s missing birth certificate and missing college records,” Martin said. “Someone is awfully interested in preventing those tapes from seeing the light of day. Now that everyone—everyone—is in court, a judge can sort out the facts and law. I am confident we can prevail.
“Since the lawsuit was originally prepared last month, more evidence of corrupt activity has come to light,” Martin concluded. “This is the political ‘whodunit’ of 2009.”
The lawsuit includes defendants in Maryland, the Washington Post, Oklahoma, Florida and Illinois.
The lawsuit will be distributed as a separate e-mail.

Why some so-called “conservatives” in Illinois are a joke
Andy Martin says that ChampionNews.net’s John Biver’s endorsement of Pat Hughes for the U. S. Senate shows that Biver has contempt for conservatism and contempt for Republicans. Martin says that Biver may not be a double agent for Mark Kirk, but that Biver comes perilously close to acting like one.
U. S. Senate candidate Andy Martin says ChampionNews.net has “crossed the line into political, possibly criminal, extortion”
Martin says the threat by John Biver to attack candidates who do not defer to Pat Hughes, a sleazy attorney who has surrendered his law license, shows why the so-called “conservative movement” in Illinois a joke.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
ANDY MARTIN SAYS CHAMPIONNEWS.NET HAS MORPHED FROM A WEB SITE THAT PROVIDES SENSIBLE ANALYSIS AND WRITING INTO A RIGHT-WING CRACKPOT OPERATION THAT IS THREATENING POLITICAL EXTORTION.
(CHICAGO)(September 9, 2009) The right-wing in Illinois is in left field. That is the only way to characterize the latest crackpot threat by John Biver’s ChampaionNews.net to “question the judgment and character of anyone who stays in the race [for U. S. senator]…”
I have news for Jack Roeser, the man behind Championnews.net. Take your threat and shove it where the sun doesn’t shine.
If you think anyone should knuckle under to the petty extortion of John Biver, Mr. Roeser you are out of touch with reality.
But then “Combine” Republicans have always said the “right” was out of touch with reality. The latest threats by ChampionNews.net confirm a total loss of contact with reality.
I have never met Jack Roeser, and I don't intend to devote a great deal of energy to learning about him.
I do, however, regularly read ChampionNews.net (“CN.N”), and I find the general quality of their abstract writing and analysis to be excellent.
Indeed, as a result of the attention CN.N focused on SB 600, I became active in supporting SB 600. Roeser & Co,. are to be commended for their support of direct election of the Republican State Central Committee. That’s the way the Democrats do it, and that’s the way Republicans used to do it. And that’s the way we should do it.
I can’t speak for any other candidate. But if Jack Roeser thinks he can intimidate or bully me into supporting someone I can see as an unethical and incompetent lawyer, Pat Hughes, Roeser is a nut.
The fact that Roeser and Biver would even promote someone like Hughes destroys all of the credibility Roeser and Biver have built up through the excellent editorial work of CN.N.
Mr. Biver is entitled to his own opinions. He is not entitled to his own reality and his own warped sense of the facts. And he is absolutely not entitled to threaten to harass and extort people who do not surrender to his insane demand that Illinois Republicans vote for a joke like Pat Hughes.
Running for office is constitutionally protected. Threatening or harassing candidates is a criminal offense, 18 U.S.C. §245 (b)(1)(A).
Hughes is a 40 year-old "inactive" attorney, which is to say he surrendered his license to practice law in Illinois. Hughes has only voted a handful of times in his life. He has shown no interest in politics or democracy until earlier this year. That’s a weird background for someone who appears one day and says he should be a U. S. Senator.
Mr. Hughes says he is an outstanding lawyer. That' a delusional claim. I saw Hughes' presentation before county chairmen in Springfield on August 20th. If I had given the presentation Hughes did, I would have gone out and shot myself. Hugh's speech was pathetic, disgraceful and downright embarrassing. A first year law student at a good law school would be able to improve on Hughes' delivery.
So what is the secret of Hughes’ “success?” Bribery and fraud.
Hughes comes by bribery and fraud through his professional experience as a lawyer for a shady real estate operation. He claims to be an “attorney” but he surrendered his right to practice law in Illinois and went on ”inactive” status. That's very strange behavior for a 40 year-old lawyer. So he’s not practicing law. Hughes says he works for a real estate firm that has been sued for non-performance, on a project that was under Hughes’ supervision. No wonder Hughes did not want to be regulated by the Illinois Supreme Court.
Hughes greased political fixer Paul Caprio’s palm with $10,000 in cash, with promises of more cash to come. Caprio went out and cooked up a bogus "endorsement" session in Bloomington. Caprio then collected signatures on an “endorsement” letter without disclosing his employment by Hughes. Caprio even had the nerve to bamboozle Phyllis Schlafly, who now lives out of state. Caprio is lucky he hasn’t been indicted for fraud. Yet.
Hughes has greased the palms of other ministers to buy their support. I am sure they go out and preach the “Gospel of Jesus,” and forget about the part about the thirty pieces of silver.
Hughes has no experience whatsoever in government, public policy or communications. Maybe if he has some experience in one of these areas, he could be forgiven a lack of experience in all three. But Hughes has no experience whatsoever. He didn't even bother to vote, for decades.
Take a look at Hughes’ Bloomington video on the Internet. Would you hire Hughes to represent you in a major real estate deal? In court? No way.
Apparently Hughes just woke up one day and decided he should be a U. S. Senator, and started putting bags of cash in Caprio's hands.
Hughes is perhaps the biggest statewide clown candidate I have seen in over forty years of politics. He is such an incompetent character that I can’t even remember someone similar to compare him with. (If anyone has a suggestion, let me know.)
John Biver, the editor of CN.N, apparently met with Hughes and became an instant apostle of Hughes’ gospel. Whether cash changed hands is unknown.
But anyone who would take Hughes seriously is someone who cannot himself be taken seriously. That Biver is making extortionate threats to question the “judgment and character” of anyone who exposes Hughes’ corruption and incompetence, well, such an individual is himself manifestly lacking in judgment and character.
Who appointed Biver to be a king maker, so that he can threaten other Senate candidates with attacks? I have no idea. Biver has taken leave of his senses.
When Andy McKenna stepped down last month he said that one of his accomplishments over the past several years was to restrain the crackpot right-wing in the Republican Party. I don’t think McKenna neutered anyone. He certainly didn't drain John Biver's fever swamp. But people like Biver undermine themselves. They make a joke of “conservatism” and a joke of their own enterprises when they support comic book candidates for office.
Let me be clear on three issues:
First, Mark Kirk is a bad candidate, in some respects even an evil one, but he cannot be beaten by crackpot endorsements and criminal threats to harass people who run against Hughes. Kirk is not a Republican, not even closely a Republican. The fact that “Republican leaders” support Kirk is a function of the fact the entire party is blinded by corrupt cash from the Washington Beltway.
Second, Pat Hughes is a “candidate” with no prior record of political involvement, who has no business running for statewide office. Given the financial troubles of his seeming or apparent employer, Hughes is probably the only person in the United States who claims to be a “real estate developer” (he’s not really) who has time to devote to politics instead of trying to salvage his real estate business. Hughes has nothing to salvage because he is not a significant real estate operator. He is hot air from start to finish.
Finally, “conservatism” is an honorable calling. Raising alarms about the unborn is honorable. Seeking to restrain government is honorable. Seeking a secure United States is honorable.
But some conservatives are intent on leading the Republican Party to ridicule by supporting jokers and extremists who have no role to play in politics. Based on his presentational skills, Pat Hughes should be trying to run for city council, maybe. I can tell you no lawyer worth his salt would look at Hughes’ speeches and think he was anything but a loser.
John Biver is entitled to his own opinion. He is even entitled to support whom he wants for senator. But when Biver crosses the line from supporting a candidate, even a clown like Hughes, to threatening to “question the judgment and character” of anyone who stands up to a crook like Hughes,” Biver is wacko. Biver is no more of a conservative Republican than Mark Kirk.
Mr. Biver, your remarks of September 8th are a disgrace to politics and a disgrace to conservative Republicans, who should know better and aspire to higher standards. Mark Kirk can be beaten in the primary, but not by someone such as your candidate, who does a pretty good job of beating himself.
I invite sane conservatives to join me in working to defeat Mark Kirk. Crackpots like John Biver and his patsy Pat Hughes have no place in politics. Biver may edit a worthwhile little newsletter. But he lacks the “character and judgment” to genuinely participate in the political process as a conservative or Republican. Biver is a disgrace to both.

ANDY MARTIN SAYS MARK KIRK IS “FUMBLING” THE DEBATE OVER ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
CAN ANDY MCKENNA’S WASHINGTON LAW FIRM SAVE MARK KIRK FROM (GASP!) POLITICS?
BULLETIN: KIRK IS USING THE SAME SLEAZY LAW FIRM AS ANDY MCKENNA; MCKENNA THREATENED TO SUE REPUBLICANS SEEKING DEMOCRACY FOR THE REPUBLICAN STATE CENTRAL COMMITTEE
DOES MARK KIRK HAVE A MEDIA STRATEGY FOR DEALING WITH HIS ADVERSARIES?
IN THE SPIRIT OF REPUBLICAN “UNITY,” ANDY MARTIN OFFERS MARK KIRK “FREE LEGAL AID” (PLEASE HOLD YOUR APPLAUSE)
(CHICAGO)(September 8, 2009) During the 1960’s, Honda tried to popularize its motorcycles by coming up with the advertising slogan “You meet the nicest people on a Honda." I would like to grab that line, and turn it around: “You meet the sleaziest people in Illinois politics.”
My primary opponent, Mark Kirk is currently facing a “condom conundrum.” According to liberal media columnist (and unprovoked Andy hater) Mark Brown of the Chicago Sun-Times, Kirk is being unfairly accused. I’ll leave the “fairness” issue to others to decide.
Instead, I’ll focus on several of peripheral issues revealed by Kirk’s response to liberal attacks on his congressional record.
First, although the primary season has already begun, Kirk is fumbling and stumbling. Kirk is apparently trying to claim the mantle of the Republican Party’s new Ross Perot. Kirk has a law firm out threatening radio and TV stations (Kirk’s liberal media ”base”) because he is afraid they may run an immigration extremist advertisement. The alleged conflict: did Kirk use the term “condom” on the floor of the U. S. House (it appears he did not).
Having previously trashed the Second Amendment while serving in Congress, Kirk now wants to undo the First Amendment, and deny his opponents the right to broadcast ads critical of his performance in office. He doesn’t want ads to paraphrase his prior remarks.
Kirk is paying the same crooked law firm that Andy McKenna used to threaten Illinois Republicans who wanted to go back to electing our State Central Committee by supporting SB 600. I didn’t think much of that firm’s legal opinion in support of McKenna’s dirty tricks, and I don’t think much of the same law firm’s legal opinion that Kirk can intimidate radio and TV stations into silence. Click here to read Kirk’s legal letter:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/
19426140/PattonBoggsLetter
Like the teenager that tries to carry two watermelons, one under each arm, and ends up dropping both of them, Kirk was trying to connect population control and illegal immigration in remarks on the floor of the House. Immigration extremists have their knickers in a twist because of Kirk’s suggestion we send “family planning” assistance to Mexico to curb illegal immigration. Out of this episode arises Kirk’s “condom conundrum.”
Kirk hired McKenna’s law firm to threaten TV and radio stations that broadcast the “condom commando” advertisement.
Kirk is a lawyer, but I doubt he could find his way to the front door of any courthouse, let alone argue a case or review a frivolous legal opinion from a corrupt Washington law firm. In reality Kirk is a career politician and coat holder, not someone with Chicago "street smarts" (think Andy Martin).
I know Kirk’s law firm; I have opposed them. So when I condemn the ethics of Kirk’s lawyers, I know of what I speak.
But in a spirit of Republican collegiality, I, the “country lawyer” who began his legal career fighting corruption in the downstate Champaign County Courthouse, will provide Kirk with free legal aid. Although I am not a member of the Illinois Bar, Kirk should heed my advice:
Kirkie, threatening to sue TV and radio stations because they accept political advertising critical of your own words, or paraphrases of your words, is a losing strategy. Save your millions of dirty dollars from inside the Beltway for more productive campaign uses. Paying greedy lawyers to crank out silly “opinions” will have as much effect as Andy McKenna’s threat to sue the State of Illinois if the legislature adopts SB 600.
The Patton Boggs LLP (law firm) “opinion letter” to McKenna was a crassly useless and unprofessional legal document. McKenna was threatening to undo democracy because he wanted to entrench himself in office.
What happened to McKenna? He’s gone. I don’t see McKenna’s successor, Pat Brady, waving McKenna’s SB 600 “legal opinion.”
What I find amazing, Kirkie (can I be this familiar since I am not your official attorney) is that you are running for statewide office, for the first time no less, and don’t have a strategy for dealing with your critics. Well I have a lot of statewide experience, and common sense. Try my approach on for size.
You have been basking in the “adulation” (no, that’s not a downstate sex act with farm animals) of Republican losers for so long (John McCain, Michael Steele, Andy McKenna) that you don’t realize in the real word there is a lot of opposition to your candidacy. Yes, there are liberals who want to defeat you. I know you think liberals are supposed to be your “base,” and the "future" of the Republican Party under your "statewide" leadership, but you’re wrong.
Your “base” doesn’t exist. That’s a painful lesson for you to accept. Your “base,” such as it is, is discredited Washington characters such as McCain and Steele, and the bush league (or is that the "Bush" league) liberal media in Chicago that can’t distinguish a real candidate from a real canapĂ©.
So if your “plan” for how to deal with your liberal opponents is to issue goofy legal opinions from Andy McKenna’s Washington law firm threatening radio and TV stations, that is a losing strategy. Worse, it’s a dumb strategy. Besides, broadcasters are hurting; they need the money. Why should they turn down ads critical of you?
If you approved issuance of the threatening letter to the media, which I consider a dumb strategy, does that maybe make you a dumb candidate? Kirkie, the State of Illinois ain't beanbag. And it ain't the cozy world of North Shore liberal politics, either.
Lesson Two. In your recent campaigns you called people from Chicago “goons” and “thugs.” Who were you referring to? Do you think they have forgotten what you said about them in 2008? Are you going to threaten TV and radio stations when the “goons and thugs” ads start appearing?
In all fairness, and as your confidential legal advisor, let me explain the real world to you. We all bring “baggage” to political campaigns. I probably have as many enemies, but probably many more, than you do. So I know about baggage.
My opponents are concentrated in courthouses and law firms. Ever since I was a law student I have made a career of exposing crooked lawyers and judges. And during the past forty years I have said a few things that ought not to have been said. No one's perfect. In retaliation, corrupt judges and courts from the Illinois Supreme Court (of 1973) on down have attacked me. Or as the first Mayor Daley might have said, “They have even criticized me.”
Sometimes my political opponents use these judicial attacks to smear me even though the judges’ attacks are really judicial “endorsements.” Judges are really certifying I am too honest for their liking; I irritate them with my constant anti-corruption activity. Even Barack Obama has tried to smear me. Obama’s claim that I am an “anti-Semite” is a joke. Most people now realize Obama is the real anti-Semite.
Some federal judges have loved me (no, not that kind of “love”) and others still hate me for what I did to derail their careers.
But the difference between you and I is that I am used to dealing with my opponents, and I can handle the opposition with “aplomb” (that’s not a piece of Southern Illinois fruit, just in case you’re confused).
Apparently you have yet to develop an approach to dealing with the liberal extremists and interest groups that are going to be relentlessly attacking your statewide campaign. Bad.
I have a suggestion Kirkie. Why don't you let me deal with the media, and all those bitchy liberals? You should support me as the Republican candidate for U. S. Senator? At least you know I’m honest and incorruptible.
You could start practicing law for a change. You can’t be any worse of an attorney than you apparently are in dealing with the media. It won’t be easy for you to find out where the courthouse door is, or how to counsel a client to stay out of court or defend a lawsuit. But when I am in the Senate, you can always pick up the phone and call your U. S. Senator for advice: Andy Martin. My advice will still be free. And at least I know enough “law” not to hire Andy McKenna’s lawyers, Patton Boggs LLP, for a “legal opinion.” Apparently, you didn’t.
“Love,” Andy.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Andy Martin explains how efforts of “Combine” Republicans in Illinois to defeat him may have inadvertently elected Barack Obama president
(CHICAGO)(September 7, 2009) Sometimes a complete idiot can disarmingly disclose an obvious truth. A couple of days ago an idiot attacked me on the “conservative” web site IllinoisReview.com. (“IR”) Although the column on IR was actually about the 2010 gubernatorial race in Illinois, out of the blue the rabid moron smeared me and my mother. Well, after almost half a century in Illinois politics I am used to being attacked.
Since I began exposing and opposing corruption by both Democrats and Republicans in the 1960’s, I have been disliked by the puppet masters in both parties. Sleazy Republicans and sleazy Democrats find common cause in attacking and harassing me. I’m someone who has proved with decades of integrity that I cannot be bought.
But in reading the recent ranting of the anonymous poster on IR [www.IllinoisReview.typepad.com], a moment of clarity emerged.
The “Stop Andy” movement in 2007 may have elected Barack Obama in 2008. You can thank crooked “Combine” Republicans in Illinois for the election of Obama.
Follow my reasoning.
The hard left in American politics (that is to say left-wing Democrats and the lunatic-fringe left in American politics) despises me because I wrote the first stories raising doubts about Barack Obama’s religion and family tree. Amazingly, recently a right-wing “Combine” Republican jerk attacked me on the “Chicago GOP” site for, yes, attacking Obama. (That’s why Illinois Republicans are doomed to wander in the wilderness.)
I began writing about Obama in 2004. By 2006 my questions about the mystery man with the Kenyan father were creating a national platform for my views.
My writing began to raise concerns in the Obama camp once Obama formally declared for president in 2007. Then, as now, I was searching for the truth and trying to find the facts about “Barry O.” Nothing more, nothing less. I was not grasping at bogus documents to file false lawsuits. I was merely digging for original public records. I still am. Obama is just as much of a mystery man in 2009 as he was in 2004.
Who is Obama? We still don’t know. He won’t even release the original 1961 copy of his Hawai’i birth certificate. Why not?
In 2007 I also became a candidate for the U. S. Senate.
The Illinois Republican Party was controlled and corrupted by a poor-little-rich-boy, Andy McKenna. McKenna disliked me because I had helped torpedo his own campaign for the senate in 2004. The McKenna family is closely aligned with the Daley Machine; McKenna has always been seen as an errand boy for the crooked “Combine” of Democrats and Republicans that controls Illinois politics.
At this point, the recent ranting of the IR “conservative” intersects with reality. He admitted there was a “Stop Andy” movement in 2007.
McKenna, in the words of the Illinois review "conservative," orchestrated a “Stop Andy” movement because McKenna was afraid I would win the Republican nomination for U. S. Senator; my candidacy would have then posed a serious threat to “Combine” incumbent U. S. Senator Dick Durbin. McKenna was absolutely correct in his fears. Had I won the primary, Durbin would have come under attack from my campaign.
McKenna schemed to nominate a Republican patsy for Durbin. Among the dirty tricks orchestrated by the State Central Committee of the Republican Party was a bogus “endorsement” for the “Republicans’” Durbin patsy. I narrowly lost the primary. The Republican patsy was never heard from again. Durbin won a landslide victory.
My research and writing about Obama continued in 2008. My http://www.contrariancommentary.com/ columns became a popular book, “Obama: The Man Behind The Mask.” I led the first research team to investigate Obama’s family history in Hawai’i.
And gradually, as the presidential race wore on, my national profile began to rise. Obama was frantic to undermine me. He put up his own patsy in the Washington Post, a woman who claimed she “researched” the “rumors” about Obama and “found” they led to me. In fact, I had never spread any rumors whatsoever about Obama; I had only been digging for the truth and trying to find the facts about him. Obama was trying just as hard to lie about his past.
Through the summer of 2008 David Axelrod and Obama’s inner circle became increasingly frantic. Obama was on the verge of overtaking the seemingly senile John McCain, who was running what seemed like an almost-patsy-style campaign as Obama’s opponent.
But a growing percentage of the American people were harboring increasing doubts about Obama’s past. My columns were fueling these doubts.
Sean Hannity invited me to be a guest on one of his programs:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=
UKSq2oJ0W1c&feature=related
[Click on Part Two for my segment]
Hannity’s program became the most controversial national TV show of the 2008 presidential race because of my presence. None of the other guests on Hannity's show elicited the left-wing reaction I did. The day after Hannity's program, the New York Times reported that liberals were in a frenzied mood and demanding my scalp. If Liberals and hard leftists were apoplectic, how could the Obama campaign ignore the significance of my appearance on Hannity? Or was Obama actually stoking the frenzied attacks on the media for not attacking me?
Obama’s operatives had already created a “dirty tricks” operation to harass me. They were filing bogus biographies on the Internet (soon to be a major lawsuit) and using leftist journalists to trash me in the national media. But the more the Obamabots smeared me, the more the American people believed the evidence I had assembled and wanted answers to the questions I had raised.
By default I became the leader of the national Republican Party’s anti-Obama Internet campaign. McCain had none of his own. It was then I became identified as the “Internet Powerhouse.”
During “commentary” session after a subsequent McCain/Obama debate on Long Island, Obama’s operative exploded with a furious attack on Hannity for having had me as a guest. I had become the focal point of the presidential race. Hannity and I had triggered a retaliatory firestorm. Rupert Murdock, Hannity’s boss and Fox News owner, who was already groveling at Obama’s feet, sent a munchkin out to smear me. Hannity did not come to my defense. Money talks.
But the power of my commentary and the cogency of my analysis endures. Last month (August, 2009), long after the presidential election, Hannity announced he would rebroadcast his program in which I had appeared. The program mysteriously disappeared.
Obama still fears me. Smart man that Kenyan-American.
But here is where we sum up and I draw what is sure to be yet another controversial conclusion. If Illinois Republicans had not sabotaged my campaign for the U. S. Senate in 2008, I would have won the nomination. Had I won the nomination, I would have continued my research and analysis of Obama’s past from a much higher platform, instead of having to build that national platform from scratch.
My views about Obama would have reached national television before Hannity’s program on October 5th.
And very likely we would have mobilized enough independent voters, by opening their eyes to the gaps in Obama’s resume, to narrowly elect the somnolent McCain president.
In other words, if Illinois Republicans had not opposed my candidacy, we might, just might have had enough momentum to successfully lead the charge against Barack Obama’s election.
You can thank sleazy “Combine” Republicans in Illinois for Obama’s presidency. I am sure Barry O thanks them every day.
In 2010, I am again a candidate for the U. S. Senate. For Obama’s former senate seat. What does Barack Obama fear most in the U. S. Senate? Andy Martin sitting in his former senate seat.
And what are Illinois Republicans again scheming to do? No surprise this time: “Stop Andy.” And who showed up to endorse my “Combine” opponent? Why semi-sentient Senator John McCain, of course.
Now you know the rest of the story.
And you know why every honest American should stand behind me and against the relentlessly corrupt Illinois Republican “Combine” Party. In 2008 Illinois Republicans elected Obama; in 2010 they are trying to block the election of the one candidate who would become Obama’s strongest opponent in the U. S. Senate.
Ain’t “democracy” wonderful?
[P.S. if you really, really want to stop Barack Obama, you know what to do: please make a generous contribution to my campaign. This time, maybe the American people will win. To donate go to http://www.andyforussenator.com/ or mail us a check.]

Why Pat Hughes and Paul Caprio are a disgrace to Illinois “conservatives”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Andy Martin condemns Paul Caprio’s “sleaze” and Pat Hughes’ “inactive” political ethics.
(CHICAGO)(September 6, 2009) Republican U. S. Senate candidate and insurgent “Internet Powerhouse” Andy Martin told a Chicago news conference Saturday that Paul Caprio’s attempt to deceive conservatives by staging a bogus endorsement process for his own undisclosed client, and by seeking to deceive Republican county chairman as to Caprio’s true role in Pat Hughes' U. S. Senate campaign, have fatally compromised both Hughes and Caprio.
“You can’t be on both sides of the fence at the same time,” Martin said. “Caprio took $10,000 in cash from Hughes, and joined Hughes’ ‘campaign,’ and then went around the state pretending to be an impartial ‘conservative leader.’ Even Illinois Democrats don’t use such fraudulent tactics any more.
“Caprio maintained a public image of impartiality, and used that false image to recruit signers to his ‘county chairmen’ letter, while he was secretly on Hughes’s payroll. If Caprio had disclosed his financial interest and his role in Hughes’ campaign, people would have said ‘Whoa,’ how can you be leading an endorsement process for your own client?
“Caprio even stooped to defrauding Phyllis Schlafly, one of the great ladies of the conservative moment. It almost looks as though Caprio would bamboozle his own mother for a buck.
“Is there no limit to how low he will stoop? Is there no limit to Pat Hughes’ embarrassing incompetence in allowing Caprio to make a laughingstock of Hughes’ campaign?
“Rather suspiciously, Hughes recently surrendered his license to practice law and went on ‘inactive’ status, though he still refers to himself as an ‘attorney.’ Maybe Hughes surrendered his law license and went on ‘inactive’ status because his professional ethics are ‘inactive.’ His campaign ethics were ‘inactive’ for sure in conducting his bogus endorsement charade. An honest lawyer would know better than to deceive the public. Hughes doesn’t have the common sense to know right from wrong. Some attorney.
“Let me be clear: Illinois Republicans will never regain the public’s trust by being as seedy as the Democrats. Conservatives will never defeat the ‘Combine’ by being as corrupt as Combine members. The only way we can win back the trust of Illinois voters is by holding ourselves to a higher standard and by showing we are more honest and open than the Democrats; not by showing that conservatives are just as sleazy as the sleaziest slime balls in Illinois politics.
“I have been fighting political corruption in Illinois for over forty (40) years. In those years I never took a penny from anyone to deceive the public about my goals. I have the scars to prove I fought crooked judges and crooked politicians and helped send the bad guys to prison. Pat Hughes didn’t even bother to vote until recently. And he wants to be a U. S. senator?
“Barack Obama’s dirt diggers and mud merchants went over my entire life last year, looking for ways to smear me. All they could come up with were stale examples where I had been attacked for exposing corruption in the courts. I am preparing to break a big judicial corruption scandal in DuPage County, right in the Republican heartland. Obama found nothing on me. I have lived an honorable life. I will continue to do so.
“Pat Hughes couldn’t even launch his own candidacy without engaging in fraud. How is he going to attack Democrats? Or even Kirk? By challenging their ethics?
“Hughes is an embarrassment to every conservative leader who announced his or her support for Hughes, and every Illinois voter who was defrauded by D. Paul Caprio’s sham endorsement charade in Bloomington.
“Hughes is apparently nothing more than a ‘front’ for Caprio’s own money-raising operations. Caprio’s ‘political consulting’ is clearly saturated with sleaze.
“If Pat Hughes is as stupid and incompetent as Caprio makes made him look, I feel sorry for Hughes. Hughes told people in Bloomington he is a great lawyer with excellent courtroom skills. If that is true, why did he make such a pathetic speech in Springfield on Republican Day? That was no great lawyer speaking. There is a big gap between what Hughes promises and what he produces, other than the $10,000 he produced for Caprio’s bank account and thousands more for others.
“The bottom line: Paul Caprio secretly orchestrated an endorsement process for his own client, while concealing his initial receipt of $10,000 from Pat Hughes, and Caprio’s ongoing role with Hughes. Caprio was using Hughes as his personal cash machine.
“Caprio’s ‘caper’ is one of the most sordid episodes in recent Illinois politics, in either party. That this shameless legerdemain was conducted by a so-called ‘family’ leader is a disgrace to the conservative movement of which Caprio claims to be a part.
“I want conservative support, but not at the price of my personal integrity or public morality,” Martin concluded. “Pat Hughes has a lot to learn before he steps into the political arena. He won’t learn it from hucksters like Caprio.”
U. S. Senate candidate Andy Martin blasts Pat Hughes and Paul Caprio for “campaign fraud”

Mark Kirk’s fatally flawed campaign for the U.S. Senate
The “Kirk Fallacy” and the self-destructive impulses of the Illinois Republican “Combine” Party’s leadership

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
(CHICAGO)(September 5, 2009) I support the right of any candidate to run. People criticize me, and I criticize my opponents and their backers. That’s how the electoral process functions. But, ultimately, supporters of a candidate have to ask themselves: is his or her strategy viable?
Mark Kirk’s strategy for the U. S. Senate cannot succeed. That is why Kirk has sought to purchase the nomination by “donating” $50,000 to the Illinois Republican “Combine” Party.
Kirk’s theory is that a “liberal Republican” from the extremely liberal North Shore suburbs of Chicago can be elected to statewide office as a “moderate” or “liberal” Republican. This belief is delusional for two reasons.
First, let me admit that as one of Kirks competitors I am envious at the showering of media attention on Kirk’s doomed campaign. The liberal media just love to lavish attention on Kirk. Why? Because they want a liberal to win the Republican Senate primary. How many conservatives actually work at Chicago TV stations and newspapers? None.
But what the media giveth, the media also taketh away. The love fest with Kirk is only going to last until February 2nd. Once the Democratic candidate is determined, Kirk’s liberalism will be the reason the media reject Kirk. You can already see that happening within the liberal interest groups that heavily influence media coverage. They are attacking Kirk as a “conservative.” They want no part of a “Senator Kirk.”
Is it logical; is it rational to believe that on February 3rd Democrats are suddenly going to embrace Mark Kirk? Kirk may even be a radical on the issues, but he would vote for Republican leadership in the Senate. So Kirk is not going to win liberal votes. The day after the primary, liberal media support for Kirk will evaporate.
Well, you say, Kirk can run as a moderate. Here is where Kirk has hung himself with his own nose. If he tries to tack “moderate” in the general election, his friends in the liberal media will abandon him as a turncoat. So Mark Kirk is running a doomed campaign for the U. S. Senate.
Why is Kirk really running? In my opinion Kirk is a stalking horse for his friends in the Obama administration, such as Rahm Emanuel, who do not want a conservative Republican to emerge as the candidate for Senator.
Obama is terrified that my campaign might catch fire and win the nomination. Here’s why: first Obamabots know I am a ferocious opponent of Obama and everything he stands for. Obama knows my internet attacks cost him millions of votes in 2008. He knows how devastating I could be as a Senator.
Second, Obama knows what Republicans want (his pollsters are not stupid). They don’t want Mark Kirk. So if Obama’s liberal media quietly convince Republicans to nominate Kirk, he will be an easy candidate for Republicans to abandon in November, 2010. Republicans are already threatening to do precisely that!
In a column this week, Roger Simon (no conservative himself) ran the following remarks from Greg Mueller, “a political consultant who specializes in conservative candidates.”
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/
0809/26635_Page2.html
“‘There is a coalition to be tapped of Republicans, independents, reawakened Perot voters and center-right Democrats,’ Mueller said...’ Mueller said this coalition is looking for someone who will stand up and “fight in an energetic fashion.”…we don’t want someone who will try to wonk his way to victory.’”
Is Mark Kirk a candidate who has ever, in his entire life, been someone who would “stand up and ‘fight in an energetic fashion?’” Of course not.
Mr. Mueller was defining my candidacy, not Mark Kirk’s. You can love me or hate me, but you can’t deny I am a fighter. And Barack Obama knows I will fight him.
Please consider supporting my campaign. I am the only viable alternative to Kirk in the primary.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF SATURDAY NEWS CONFERENCE IN CHICAGO
Andy Martin says self-styled “conservative leaders” who took cash from Pat Hughes engaged in political corruption by later failing to disclose their financial ties to Hughes
D. Paul Caprio’s orchestration of a bogus “endorsement” process that “endorsed” Caprio’s employer bordered on criminal activity
(CHICAGO)(September 5, 2009) Republican U. S. Senate candidate and insurgent “Internet Powerhouse” Andy Martin will hold a Chicago news conference Saturday, September 5th to condemn corrupt endorsement practices by so-called Illinois conservative “leaders” and “pro-family” political consultants.
“D. Paul Caprio, a political consultant, who had previously received $10,000 from Pat Hughes, orchestrated a fraudulent ‘endorsement’ process for his client, and then issued a ‘letter,’ ostensibly authored by impartial ‘conservative leaders,’ claiming to endorse his paying client,” Martin will charge.
“Caprio did all of this activity without disclosing he was on Pat Hughes’ payroll. Other so-called conservatives were also claiming their thirty pieces of silver on Hughes’ payroll. They are as equally guilty as Caprio.
“Conservatives should strive to achieve honesty and openness in their political activity, not Daley Machine-style corruption. For Caprio to put $10,000 in his own pocket, and then seek to orchestrate an ‘endorsement’ of his employer was not far short of criminal fraud. Some would say he crossed the line. Caprio’s tactics are a disgrace to both himself and his ‘client’ Mr. Hughes.
“In fact, Caprio’s tactics on behalf of his client are even more fraudulent than Mark Kirk’s attempt to purchase the same Republican Party U. S. Senate nomination. Kirk paid cash on the barrel, but he did not attempt to orchestrate a bogus endorsement session as well as a bogus endorsement letter while concealing his $50,000 in blood money.
“Caprio’s situation is more sinister because while Kirk gave his money to the party, Caprio personally pocketed the cash. If this is the kind of ‘advice’ Caprio is giving Hughes, Mr. Hughes is in deep doo doo. Hughes has forfeited any credibility or integrity as a candidate for any office, let alone statewide federal office. The only position Hughes might qualify for is as a sleazy Chicago alderman.
“Imagine the outcry if ‘Combine Republicans’ had pulled what some so-called conservatives did, pocketing a pile of cash to conduct a phony endorsement session and then issuing a phony endorsement letter on behalf of their employer. Conservatives would be screaming if the Combine did that.
“Ethical conservatives should be screaming that D. Paul Caprio is using crooked activity to further his personal financial interests and his political consulting business. Caprio is an embarrassment to conservatives, pro-lifers and pro-family activists.
“Caprio doesn’t know the meaning of the term ‘conflict of interest.’ Should Caprio be allowed to grab $10,000 for his own pocket, and then pretend he is objectively ‘evaluating’ his own employer’s candidacy? Of course not.
“Let the word go forth today,” Martin will state. “I am a conservative who stands for honest government and honest politics, not D. Paul Caprio’s Daley Machine-style corrupt ‘conservative’ deal-making.
“The people who orchestrated the sham endorsement session in Bloomington in August should apologize to every Republicans—yes, even to Combine Republicans—and promise to never engage in similar acts of fraud. These people should withdraw their bogus endorsement of Hughes, and also notify county chairmen who received their fraudulent endorsement letter that some of the persons signing the 'conservative' letter were in fact on Pat Hughes payroll.
“Democrats and Independents can potentially vote for a conservative Republican in 2010, but they will only vote for a Republican who is honest and open, and not for someone such as Pat Hughes who bribes people and then uses his chumbolones to conduct bogus political activity designed to defraud the public,” Martin will charge.
“Very suspiciously, Hughes has put his law license on ‘inactive’ status. Maybe his legal ethics are also ‘inactive.’
“If Pat Hughes thinks crooked political activity is ‘mainstream’ Republicanism in Illinois, he belongs with the Combine, not with honest opponents fighting Combine infiltration on the Republican Party. Hughes and Caprio and the rest of Hughes’ employees owe every Illinoisan an apology.
“I will work with conservatives of every view and stripe. But I will not tolerate in the Republican Party the same corrupt, deceptive and fraudulent practices we condemn in Daley Machine Democrats or Combine Republicans. If we can’t do a better job, and a more honest and open job than Daley or Combine thugs, we don’t deserve to win.
“I will fight to expose corruption whether it is Daley Machine corruption, or Combine Republican corruption or, yes, even conservative or ‘pro family’ corruption,” Martin will conclude. “A crook is a crook. D. Paul Caprio has disgraced conservatives, disgraced the values he claims to support and disgraced himself by orchestrating and organizing a fraudulent endorsement charade.”
