(CHICAGO)(September 10, 2009) The Washington Post finds itself snared in a major Illinois and Washington political scandal now that a U. S. Senate candidate in Illinois has filed suit against the Post and one of its reporters.
“The Washington Post is now directly implicated in what clearly is criminal activity directed at me in Illinois, and being orchestrated from Maryland,” Andy Martin announced Thursday afternoon September 10th.
“The lawsuit has had a tortured history. FedEx delayed delivering the package the Clerk. Then FedEx damaged the package. Finally they delivered the new case and it was docketed just before Labor Day. The case is now on file.
“The Post owes the people of Illinois, as well as its own readers, a full explanation.
“Google is also a defendant, because the dispute involves the theft and misuse of my intellectual property.
“When I tell people in Illinois that the Washington media are corrupt, and are controlled by agents of Obama’s dirty tricks squads, they have a hard time digesting the enormity of the sleaze in Washington. Well, now we have actual evidence of criminal activity in Maryland being used to harass my campaign in Illinois.
“Somebody is awfully worried about my campaign. Who?
“Why? Because Mark Kirk and/or Barack Obama’s operatives or both are terrified I am going to win Obama’s former U. S. Senate seat and shut down his socialist regime; Mark Kirk is just a stalking horse for Obama in the Republican Party.
“They have stolen my tapes in which I discuss Obama’s missing birth certificate and missing college records,” Martin said. “Someone is awfully interested in preventing those tapes from seeing the light of day. The lawsuit includes defendants in Maryland, the Washington Post, Oklahoma, Florida and Illinois.

Dear Ms. Spayd and Gentlemen:
I spent several hours today on the phone with a Post reporter in the Rockville bureau. Originally he told me he had wandered into court this morning and seen an interesting case. Not aware that he was lying, I then faxed him 85 pages of material.
After I indicated I would be contacting you to involve the Post in a major political scandal he called back and claimed his "source" was “Scott Shirley.”
Post Reporter Dan Moore called back and gave me more “fill” concerning the story. His latest version is that he got an e-mail from someone who claimed he had filed a “peace bond” in Montgomery County against a candidate for U. S. Senator in Illinois, and then gratuitously started exhaustively investigating the candidate's past going back 40 years. Hmmm..
Morse then claims to have “researched” the story by digging into my past and contacting people with obscure relationships to me, none of which matters even remotely bear on the Maryland litigation. Hmmm, again.
Clearly, the Post has either been duped or is being knowingly and willingly used to publish a smear article on me, over the suppression of an Obama tape that was prepared in April concerning his missing birth information.
In other words, because of Mr. Morse’s machinations and his initial lack of candor, the Post is now part of the story. Unless you believe he got an e-mail from someone telling him to write a story about what is facially a fraudulent proceeding in Maryland, and Morse just went off and started investigating. Hmmm, again.
I have asked the Montgomery County State Attorney for a criminal investigation. You need more reporters on this story; Morse is now part of the scandal.
In order to get at the relationship between your reporter and Mr. Scott Shirley, I will be naming the Post and Morse as defendants in a lawsuit arising out of the fraudulent judicial proceedings in Rockville. The Post is now in this miasma up to its neck.
You are welcome to have another reporter, or your legal department, contact me. Mr. Morse is welcome to call me, provided you are on notice he is a potential defendant along with the Post. I do not expect to get to the Shirley/Montgomery/Morse lawsuit until Tuesday, and it may not be filed until as late as Wednesday.
Please understand that I am not suggesting Mr. Morse asked me about anything that is not already in the public domain. What was interesting is that he did "research" orchestrated by my political opponents as part of “researching” a story about an obscure mope, Scott Shirley, who was paid $335 to tape a conference, by virtue of which the Post has now become the pivot in a major political scandal involving the Post and someone inside Obama’s dirt diggers/mud merchants.
Mr. Morse taped most of our conversations, with my consent, and I think you will find listening to the tape informative. I am sure you will be having someone transcribe the tape and I would appreciate a courtesy copy of all of your transcripts.
Please get back to me at your earliest convenience. If I do not hear from you or your attorneys, I will assume you admit the essentials of my allegations and expect to defend the Post in an Illinois Court. (The Post does business in Illinois and is subject to personal jurisdiction there.)
I am flattered that my political opponents go to such extreme lengths to smear me. Now that's a real story that you should be covering. Maybe Howard Kurtz should investigate why some jerk in Rockville was allegedly sending e-mails to a Post reporter soliciting news coverage for an Illinois U. S. Senate race, and a Post reporter simply fell for the lure, or so he claims.
My friends, we have a mini-Watergate on our hands.
I am suspicious of why the Post would not object to being used as a foil in such a smear operation.

(CHICAGO)(August 24, 2009) The liberal Washington Post finds itself snared in a major Illinois and Washington political scandal as a Post reporter claims he was “tipped off" by a crooked Maryland businessman concerning a fraudulent lawsuit the crook filed in a Maryland court against Illinois corruption-fighter Andy Martin.
“The Washington Post is now directly implicated in criminal activity directed at me in Maryland,” Martin announced Monday afternoon. “I spent hours on the phone with a reporter. Gradually, some of the truth emerged. My letter to the Post is part of this release and is self-explanatory. The Post owes the people of Illinois, as well as its own readers, a full explanation.
“When I tell people in Illinois that the Washington media are corrupt, and are controlled by agents of Obama’s dirty tricks squads, they have a hard time digesting the enormous sleaziness in Washington. Well, now we have criminal activity in Maryland being used to harass my campaign in Illinois. Why? Because Obama is terrified I am going to win his U. S. Senate seat and shut down his socialist regime.

“My work with Fox News is still roiling the media. Sean Hannity was ‘silenced’ a couple of weeks ago when a program he wanted to rebroadcast was shut down by Rupert Murdock’s Obamathugs. Hannity meekly complied. The truth suffered. So much for Fox News.
“My Washington, DC conference on Barack Obama’s missing birth certificate has now been targeted by the thugs in the White House. They are trying to suppress my tape with criminal activity using a small-time crook like Scott Shirley. The Washington tapes are being suppressed because Obama is obsessed with my research into his past.
“The Washington Post was asked to ‘muddy the waters’ by using the typical Obama approach, smearing Andy Martin with irrelevant information instead of focusing attention on the missing/stolen tapes. Well people are wise to Obama’s smears, and the Washington Post’s smears are only going to focus attention on the theft of my property, the missing tapes.
“Obama’s efforts to harass me and undermine my senate campaign have now corrupted the Washington Post. We have the most exciting ‘reform’ Republican campaign in the nation and it driving Obama’s Chicago crime syndicate hoodlums in the White House crazy. The mainstream, pro-Obama media are promoting Mark Kirk, but Kirk is being rejected by Illinois voters. Martin anticipates filing suit against Obama’s dirty tricksters Wednesday in an Illinois court.

Dear Ms. Spayd and Gentlemen:
I spent several hours today on the phone with a Post reporter in the Rockville bureau. Originally he told me he had wandered into court this morning and seen an interesting case. Not aware that he was lying, I then faxed him 85 pages of material.
After I indicated I would be contacting you to involve the Post in a major political scandal he called back and claimed his "source" was “Scott Shirley.”
Post Reporter Dan Moore called back and gave me more “fill” concerning the story. His latest version is that he got an e-mail from someone who claimed he had filed a “peace bond” in Montgomery County against a candidate for U. S. Senator in Illinois, and then gratuitously started exhaustively investigating the candidate's past going back 40 years. Hmmm..
Morse then claims to have “researched” the story by digging into my past and contacting people with obscure relationships to me, none of which matters even remotely bear on the Maryland litigation. Hmmm, again.
Clearly, the Post has either been duped or is being knowingly and willingly used to publish a smear article on me, over the suppression of an Obama tape that was prepared in April concerning his missing birth information.
In other words, because of Mr. Morse’s machinations and his initial lack of candor, the Post is now part of the story. Unless you believe he got an e-mail from someone telling him to write a story about what is facially a fraudulent proceeding in Maryland, and Morse just went off and started investigating. Hmmm, again.
I have asked the Montgomery County State Attorney for a criminal investigation. You need more reporters on this story; Morse is now part of the scandal.
In order to get at the relationship between your reporter and Mr. Scott Shirley, I will be naming the Post and Morse as defendants in a lawsuit arising out of the fraudulent judicial proceedings in Rockville. The Post is now in this miasma up to its neck.
You are welcome to have another reporter, or your legal department, contact me. Mr. Morse is welcome to call me, provided you are on notice he is a potential defendant along with the Post. I do not expect to get to the Shirley/Montgomery/Morse lawsuit until Tuesday, and it may not be filed until as late as Wednesday.
Please understand that I am not suggesting Mr. Morse asked me about anything that is not already in the public domain. What was interesting is that he did "research" orchestrated by my political opponents as part of “researching” a story about an obscure mope, Scott Shirley, who was paid $335 to tape a conference, by virtue of which the Post has now become the pivot in a major political scandal involving the Post and someone inside Obama’s dirt diggers/mud merchants.
Mr. Morse taped most of our conversations, with my consent, and I think you will find listening to the tape informative. I am sure you will be having someone transcribe the tape and I would appreciate a courtesy copy of all of your transcripts.
Please get back to me at your earliest convenience. If I do not hear from you or your attorneys, I will assume you admit the essentials of my allegations and expect to defend the Post in an Illinois Court. (The Post does business in Illinois and is subject to personal jurisdiction there.)
I am flattered that my political opponents go to such extreme lengths to smear me. Now that's a real story that you should be covering. Maybe Howard Kurtz should investigate why some jerk in Rockville was allegedly sending e-mails to a Post reporter soliciting news coverage for an Illinois U. S. Senate race, and a Post reporter simply fell for the lure, or so he claims.
My friends, we have a mini-Watergate on our hands.
I am suspicious of why the Post would not object to being used as a foil in such a smear operation.
