FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Andy Martin says Patrick Hughes’ campaign is an embarrassment to any Republican who takes Hughes seriously

Hughes should withdraw to stop inflicting damage and humiliation on “Christian conservatives,” Martin says

Andy says Jon Zahm, Paul Caprio and Charlie Johnston should repay any money they have collected from Hughes

(CHICAGO)(October 29, 2009) Republican U. S. Senate candidate and insurgent “Internet Powerhouse” Andy Martin said today that Patrick Hughes should withdraw as a candidate for U. S. Senator before he makes a bigger laughingstock of himself. “I told Republicans in August Hughes was a non-starter,” Martin stated. “The latest humiliation in CapitolFaxblog destroys any possibility that Hughes will be able to mount a serious campaign. Hughes is an embarrassment to himself, his family and the so-called ‘Christian leaders’ that ‘endorsed’ this pig in a poke.

“Hughes campaign leaders Paul Caprio and Charlie Johnston are also an embarrassment to themselves. It is time for them to be put out to pasture. Jon Zahm, Caprio and Johnston should repay any money they have collected from Hughes.

“We are making an appeal to any remaining Hughes supporters,” Martin noted. “They are welcome to join my campaign if they are not already disgusted with the pathetic politics of Pat Hughes and Zahm, Caprio and Johnston. We offer Hughes refugees a hard-hitting campaign focused on truth and facts, not delusional aspirations.”

Hi,
My name is xxx xxxx and I work for a company called Proud to be Republicn (http://www.facebook.com/l/03bf7;www.proudtoberepublican.com). We are assisting Pat Hughes in finishing up with his campaign signatures and need some help.
We are located in Oak Brook and have been acquiring signatures locally but would like the assistance of a college organization to help us with the younger population. Your group has acquired a large number of followers and seems to understand the problems that Illinois is going through. If you or any other members of your organization would be interested in helping us support Pat Hughes please contact me.
Feel free to call me at (800)xxx-xxx or via email at xxxx@xxxx.xxx. I will forward you all the information we have avaliable on Pat Hughes. He is also paying for signatures which is a nice incentive. Please remember the petitions are due on Monday so this is an urgent matter.
I called this person for comment, but haven’t heard back.
