Mike Ditka calls Pat Hughes a liar: new Ditka Statement

The embarrassment never ends where Pat Hughes is concerned. Coach Mike Ditka denies serving on Hughes' "Finance Committee," even though Hughes issued a statement claiming Ditka was on the Committee. "Maybe that's the Committee that said Hughes had $400,000 in 'commitments,' and then skedaddled," Andy Martin said.

New Ditka statement:
10/15/2009 8:38:42 P.M. Central Daylight Time

In response to a claim by Republican Senate candidate Andy Martin, who claimed in a press release this morning from his office that Mike Ditka has endorsed his competitor Pat Hughes, the Hall of Fame coach disputed his ‘endorsement’ of this candidate and his alleged racially incendiary views as stated by Martin.

“Pat spoke at the restaurant last week and presented small government and Reaganomic points of view,” said Ditka. He asked if I would endorse his candidacy and I indicated I supported his views on those two issues only”.

“I have long supported civil rights and would never support advocacy for the exclusion of African Americans, or any race, color or religion,” said Ditka. “All you need to do is come to my restaurant and see the diversity of our employees, customers and friends.

“These claims and rhetoric are obviously ‘politically motivated and while I may have endorsed some concepts he discussed to his gathering at the restaurant, I never ‘officially endorsed him and certainly did not agree to serve on his finance committee,”

HERE IS WHERE PAT HUGHES FALSELY CLAIMED DITKA WAS ON HIS FINANCE COMMITTEE:

Hughes’ lies are all there, out in the open to be seen on IllinoisReview.com, the “Crossroads of the Chumbolone Community.”

How can Pat Hughes show his face in public after this devastating blow to his credibility, especially after he claimed to have $400,000 in financial “commitments” and those “commitments” vanished? It’s lie-a-minute Hughes. And Hughes thinks he’s ready to be a U. S. Senator? What a disgrace for the Republican Party. What a disgrace for the “Smoke-Filled-Room Nine” that “endorsed” Hughes.

Paper bags to wear over the head, anyone?

The funny thing about this Martin, is the fact that we warned Coach Ditka yesterday that you were coming after him and his establishment on one of your bogus journeys to try and harass him and his staff. He did not have nice things to say about you and your retarded crusade against him.

Don't think for a moment that you are even remotely liked by Mr. Ditka or that you have gained his trust. He is a man of honor and you are just a crumb under his foot.
