(NEW YORK)(January 7, 2010) Republican U. S. Senate candidate and insurgent “Internet Powerhouse” Andy Martin issued a statement Thursday morning indicating he had resolved a conflict with an Iowa TV station. “I am gratified to announce the station and I were able to correct a misapprehension. The station has published my remarks both on its web page and in a broadcast newscast. We always respond to media inquiries promptly. I could see, however, how the overnight employee left early in the day and was not at work when my response to his inquiry arrived.”

The TV’s station’s report previously appeared on the web and in a local Iowa-Illinois broadcast. These reports were corrected.
