Senate candidate and insurgent “Internet Powerhouse” Andy Martin will hold a Chicago news conference Monday, January 25th to challenge Republican voters: if Mark Kirk wins the primary, homosexuals led by John McGovern will assume complete control of the Illinois Republican Party.

Martin says that conservative leaders are “playing with fire” by “playing along” with the doomed campaign of Patrick Hughes and other “vanity candidates.” Martin says that Mark Kirk, John McGovern and their associates will bury Illinois conservatives if Kirk wins the senate nomination.

“Why the reversal?

“Brady and the liberal media are focusing their attacks on me for one reason: I am the only candidate with a credible campaign to defeat Mark Kirk. I carried or nearly carried forty-five counties two years ago; I received nearly a quarter of a million votes. I am the only Republican candidate who has ever run statewide before.

“I am all that stands between Republican primary voters and assumption of complete control of the party by Republican homosexual activists. John McGovern was one of Dennis Hastert’s gay lieutenants. Then he was a Kirk ‘adviser.’ Them McGovern helped cover-up the pedophilia of Mark Foley. All of these individuals deny they are gay. But it is strange how all of them keep turning up on each other’s plates. And how they are always linked to the same sexual innuendoes.

“The media are trying to steal this election. Only my campaign advertising, literally ‘advertising’ the truth to Republican primary voters, has preserved the semblance of an election. Political pretenders such as Patrick Hughes are about to inflict a serious and possibly fatal injury on Illinois conservatives. The vanity candidates will siphon enough votes in the primary to nominate Kirk. The result will be the death of the Illinois Republican Party.

“Carol Marin and other flacks for Kirk pretend that Kirk’s nomination will lead to a ‘competitive’ senate election in November. Precisely the opposite is true. Kirk’s nomination will be the final nail in the coffin of Illinois Republicans.

“Channel 5 has become a virtual campaign headquarters for Kirk. They even show pictures of an unidentified woman in red with Kirk, the same type of woman in red I used to see on Mark Foley’s arm. It’s a scam, and the media are perpetrating the scam in conjunction with Kirk, John McGovern and the other Beltway hypocrites.

“Republican primary voters have one week to come their senses. A vote for one of my opponents is a vote for Kirk. A vote for Kirk is a vote to turn the Republican Party over to control of John McGovern and his homosexual operators. It’s that plain. These same individuals destroyed Dennis Hastert, sabotaged the Republican Party and turned Congress over to the Democrats in 2006. The consequences of Kirk’s nomination will be that destructive for the conservative movement,” Martin will charge. “My campaign will continue to fight right down to the last minute when the polls close. I will not abandon either the principles of Abraham Lincoln or the party of Lincoln.”
