(CHICAGO)(January 6, 2010) Republican U. S. Senate candidate and insurgent “Internet Powerhouse” Andy Martin will hold a Chicago news conference Wednesday, January 6th to release his new statewide campaign “Bunker Buster” advertising. Martin accuses Representative Mark Kirk of being a “de facto pedophile.” The new can be heard Wednesday, January 6th on WBBM-AM at 9:43 A.M. and 3:29 P.M. (other stations have varying times).

“For decades families have sent their children to work on the floors of the U. S House and U. S. senate as junior ‘pages.’ It’s a great honor for a family to send a son (and today a daughter) to serve as a page. Members of Congress are legally responsible for the pages and supervise all of their activity to protect the children from harm,” Martin says.

“The biggest sex scandal in American history was not one between consenting adults, however inapprprpriate such liaisons might be. The worst sex scandal was the one involving pedophile Congressman Mark Foley and how he was allowed by Republican leaders to prey on children on the floor of the U. S. House of Representatives while Speaker Dennis Hastert, Congressmen Mark Kirk and John Shimkus and others did nothing to protect the children under their supervision and protection.

“My new ad opens the door to a sex scandal that was covered up by Hastert, Kirk and other Republican leaders,” Martin says. “The truth has never come out. Now it will.

“Mark Kirk is not a member of NAMBLA. But he might as well have been. NAMBLA [North-American Man-Boy Love Association] encourages sexual relations between adult men and under-age boys. That is what Speaker Hastert and his close confidante Mark Kirk allowed to go on, not for days, not for weeks, not for months but for years. Mark Foley was never punished by the Republican Party for engaging in child abuse.

“Foley’s sexual harassment and exploitation of children could have been stopped if Mark Kirk had stood up to Hastert and stood up to the ‘clique’ in Hastert’s office that tolerated the NAMBLA-style behavior of House members and Foley in particular. But Kirk did nothing.

“My first ad was controversial because of the fact that people are entitled to differing opinions on what role, if any, possible homosexuality should play in evaluating a candidate for the United States Senate.

‘But there is no ‘second side’ to Mark Kirk’s toleration for pedophilia as practiced by Mark Foley. No one except sexual extremists such as NAMBLA and, apparently, Kirk, Hastert and John Shimkus, would act as though they believe that adult men should be allowed to prey on boys, all while under the supervision and protection of the U. S. Congress.

“Kirk was the dog that didn’t bark. Of course, while Kirk pretends to be head of a ‘suburban’ caucus in the house, Kirk’s actions in Foleygate speak louder than his words. Any suburban parent knows that protecting your child from sexual exploitation is one of the paramount roles of a parent. Kirk failed to discharge the duty imposed on all 435 members of the house to act in the best interests of the children in their care.

“I repeat, while my original ad addressed a controversial topic on which there are differing opinions, there are no differing opinions on whether Congress, charged with protecting children, was free to allow a congressman to prey on those children.

“Mark Foley was not some creepy guy in a trailer park. Foley’s ‘trailer park’ was the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives. Kirk let Foley get away with it.

“Of necessity my ad is only 60-seconds long. In longer article of social criticism, I will provide further details about the ‘clique’ operating out of Speaker Dennis Hastert’s office that destroyed the agenda of social conservatives. This truth must be known. The truth must come out. Mark Kirk’s de facto pedophilia must be made known to Illinois conservatives before they cast their ballots in less than four weeks.

“Hastert resigned from the U. S. House rather than face further investigation and possible criminal prosecution. The Foley-Kirk-Shimkus scandal was covered up. No longer. Today we begin the process of telling American families that Kirk could not be trusted to protect their children, and he cannot be trusted to serve as a U. S. Senator. No family, no parent would ever again trust Mark Kirk to protect their children. He should be disqualified from holding public office.

“By his abdication of adult responsibility in the Foley ‘page’ scandal Mark Kirk has demonstrated he’s unfit to hold public office. I intend to see he never holds office again,” Martin will state. “Because Kirk was the only one of these nefarious individuals to seek higher office, we are finally in a position to hold him accountable for his role in the Foley scandal.”

The new ad is expected to have an explosive impact on the primary campaign, now with less than four weeks to election day. Martin says, “Truly this ad is a ‘Bunker Buster’ We are exploding the bunker of lies that Kirk, Hastert Foley and others created to hide their criminal behavior from public scrutiny,” Martin promises.

Martin is preparing “Bunker Buster” ad #3, which will go into production shortly. Later this week he will hold a contest to solicit guesses on what the topic will be. Once again, Martin’s Bunker Buster is expected to explode another aspect of Kirks résumé and history, and leave the congressman’s reputation in shreds.
