Hawai’i officials admitted (confessed?) on July 27th they still maintain secret files on Obama that have not been opened to the public. Martin has a pending lawsuit seeking public access to these historical archives in Hawai’i State custody. Martin says the latest disclosure by Hawai’i that the secret files still exist is going to explode the controversy and corrode support for Obama’s presidency. Since filing his lawsuit in 2008, Martin has become a candidate for U. S. Senator in Illinois in 2010.

(PALM BEACH)(July 28, 2009) Just when you thought the anti-birth certificate wackos in the mainstream media (Rachel Maddow, Keith Olbermann, Brian Williams, Chris Matthews, Bill O’Reilly and others) could not get any wackier, they were torpedoed Monday, July 27th by a new confirmation that Hawai’i state officials still maintain secret birth records on Barack Obama
“Last week, CNN threatened Lou Dobbs and denigrated his professionalism for being right about Obama’s missing birth records,” law professor and Obama author Andy Martin announced Tuesday morning. “Dobbs has said (we paraphrase) ‘I think Obama is a citizen, but why won’t he release the original documentation?’ CNN ‘news managers’ have said the issue is ‘dead.’ July 27th Hawai’i officials rendered those claims ‘dead’ when they confirmed the issue of the secret files is very much alive.
“I know how CNN can save some money,” says Martin. “They can fire the jerks in the ‘research’ department who said the Obama birth documents had been destroyed. Chiyome Fukino has just made assess out of CNN ‘research.’ She proved that Lou Dobbs is on the right track.
“Bill O’Reilly, who likes to think of himself as a restrained intellectual, proved that when it comes to Obama’s birth records, the opponents of release always end up making themselves look like asses. O’Reilly said Monday that Hawai’i officials sent his staff the birth certificate last year. That is a lie. Pure nonsense. Hawai’i has not distributed even the COLB without Obama’s permission. There is no evidence Obama gave permission to O’Reilly or Hawai’i to send O’Reilly a copy. To be polite about it, O’Reilly is full of crap. O’Reilly took a cheap shot at Lou Dobbs and ended up shooting himself in the foot.
“Then there is ‘Dr.’ Chiyome Fukino. She is another ‘ring’ in the Obama birth certificate three-ring circus. In October, 2008 Fukino tried to rig the election in Obama’s favor (despite the fact she works for a Republican governor) by releasing remarks confirming she had personally examined Obama’s original paperwork. How could she have done that if CNN says the records were destroyed six years earlier?
“At the time, I said Fukino had validated the claims in my lawsuit. I was correct. Fukino repeated her remarks Monday, July 27th.
“Monday’s ‘statement’ by Fukino will energize the controversy. Fukino again confirmed she had examined (caps for emphasis) ‘the ORIGINAL VITAL RECORDS MAINTAINED ON FILE by the Hawai’i State Department of Health…’ ‘Original…records’ are clearly something different than mere data stored in a DOH computer.
“Just when the mainstream media were trying to cover-up the controversy, Fukino poured new fuel on the fire and ensured the Obama 'Birth Certificate Circus' will not end until Hawai'i's secret files are made public. Fukino’s latest remarks are going to send the ‘Free the birth certificate’ movement into the media mainstream.
“If Fukino has a secret ‘original file’ which she repeatedly references and examines, she makes asses out of CNN who claim the file was destroyed. Embarrassing for CNN? Yup. Validation for Lou Dobbs? Yup.
“I would like to claim the role of ringmaster in this birth certificate circus,” Martin says. “I did what any competent law professor would do in 2008. I cracked the whip in Honolulu and filed a lawsuit to obtain access to the secret files containing the historic information. Hawai’i officials are still keeping these American archives secret. Outrageous. Hawaii’s action is asinine.
“My complaint is on the Internet (October, 2008 archives). The Hawaii’ courts have tried to delay and obstruct my access to the ‘original vital records.’ How can you hide history? Obama’s documentation is now part of history. Plain and simple.
“My case is currently pending in both the Hawai’i Supreme Court and the Honolulu District Court. I do not believe my Petition for Certiorari in the Hawai’i Supreme Court is online at the Court, but I put my papers online on my blogs (see below). The title of the lawsuit is Martin v. Lingle.
“From the first day I began writing about Barack Obama’s secret life five years ago, Obama has obstructed access to the truth about himself. Obama’s sycophants in the media and government have tried to protect him from the truth and the facts of his life.
“But the truth won't die, because the truth cannot die. The truth is in the documents.
“What secrets do the secret files contain? Americans have a right to know. Historians and authors have a right to know.
“The search for the truth is being obstructed by Barack Obama himself. He could put an end to the 'Circus' by authorizing Hawai'i to release the secret files. What is he hiding? My search for the facts and truth continues, and will continue. The American people have a right to see the ‘original vital records’ of their president.
“I will shortly announce new legal action. Fukino has confirmed that ‘the original vital records’ on file with the Hawai’i Department’ exist and she has access to them. Therefore, I have a meritorious legal claim. I will continue to press that claim.
“Those who claim, as Bill O’Reilly does falsely, that they have already received these documents are liars. Those who claim, as CNN does, that these documents have been destroyed, are also liars. Fukino's latest disclosure that the secret files exist has made liars out of all of them.
“Luckily, one person, me, is seeking the truth in the proper forum (Hawai’i state courts) with a lawsuit against the proper officials (Hawai’i state officials), for the secret documents which they admitted again on July 27th they have on file. I will continue to press my claims.
Lou Dobbs, who does not have my level of legal expertise, but who has a practical understanding that ‘something is wrong’ with the way Obama’s ‘vital records’ are being manipulated and concealed, is also right. The boobs at CNN who denigrated and intimidated Dobbs also end up looking like asses.
“Dobbs and I look pretty good.
“Finally, I issue this sincere appeal to Barack Obama: Stop the Circus! Stop manipulating and concealing the truth about yourself. Public doubts are growing. As long as you maintain secret files in Hawai’i these files are going to corrode public support for your presidency.
“In the wake of Fukino's July 27th remarks, public doubts are going to skyrocket. Authorize Hawai’i to release all of your secret files. With Fukino’s confirmation that these files exist, the controversy is not going to die and is not going to disappear unless and until Fukino’s secret files, all of them, not just some of them, are made public.
“You are abusing the American people by playing games with your birth records. Stop the Circus. Tell the truth! Open the files!” Martin said.
Professor Martin is preparing new legal action.
Earlier this year he became a candidate for U. S. Senator from Illinois in 2010. [Martin is currently visiting his mother, who lives in Florida, before the senate race formally opens on August 4th.]
